Major financial institutions including BlackRock, JP Morgan, and Goldman Sachs contributed over three-quarters of the $430 million raised.

The TXSE Group, operator of the Texas Stock Exchange, has raised $430 million in its latest funding round, with major financial institutions leading the effort. BlackRock, JP Morgan, Charles Schwab, Goldman Sachs, Citadel Securities, and Bank of America provided more than three-quarters of the capital raised in the round. The latest infusion follows a $250 million raise in November 2025 and an initial $120 million in June 2024.

The US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) formally approved TXSE to operate an electronic national securities exchange from Dallas one year ago. The exchange launched production trading in all NMS symbols in July and ETF listings in September. Now, it is finalizing its first corporate listings, with Dillard’s set to begin trading on 5 October, transitioning from the NYSE. CECO Environmental will move its common stock to TXSE from Nasdaq on 19 October. Charles Schwab will also list dual shares on the exchange starting 7 October, while maintaining its primary listing on the NYSE.

Bank of America has leased office space for TXSE to host its main headquarters at the bank’s upcoming Parkside tower, which is due to finish construction in 2027. Beyond its established base of institutional backers, TXSE states that it is further supported by entities directing public companies with over $4 trillion in combined market capitalisation and ETF sponsors representing $11 trillion in assets under management.

James H. Lee, TXSE’s chairman and CEO, emphasized the exchange’s goal of offering a third listing option. Lee added that legacy equity exchanges have come to “prioritise fintech, prediction and energy markets, mortgages, data businesses and other pursuits.”
